The first in my series "Imagination," inspired by the imagination of my son, Oliver. This 36x48 oil painting represents what I imagine Oliver sees when playing with his toys in the bath. To him, it isn't a toy boat in his hand, but a great ship, being tossed in a storm at sea. Of course, it is surrounded by a miscellany of other bath toys that - to him - do not seem remotely out of place.
This is the largest piece I have painted to date, and my intention is to use a similar size for every other painting in the series.
