This is the largest - and in my opinion the best - pencil drawing I have done to date. It is titled "Mountain Man," but perhaps not for the reason you may think. The subject is my friend Jorge, one of the most genuinely kind and generous people I know (even if my mother, who does not know him, feels frightened by his visage.) It was drawn from a photo he took of himself while on a mountain during a ski trip. Jorge is a fantastic photographer, so of course it was a great image, and I was able to zoom in and get plenty of detail, much of which was transferred to the drawing. 
 
I was drawn to this image in particular because of his intent gaze, as well as the movement created by his hair blowing in the wind.
